Introductory call, complimentary property visit

During the Introductory Call we will answer any questions you have and schedule a time for one of the principles of AzADU to come by your home for a Complimentary Property Visit. At the Complimentary Property Visit we will walk your property with you, review the desired location of your ADU, note any unique features, preliminarily identify utility connections, discuss a preliminary budget, financing options, a preliminary timeline and answer any questions you have.

Team Visit
Time Frame:
Scheduling 2 +/- weeks

$750
If you like what you hear on the Introductory Call & Complimentary Property Visit and want to move to the next step with AzADU we will assemble our team of professionals including a licensed plumber, licensed electrician and utility locating company to visit your property. In addition our draftsman and civil engineer (if required) will review your property. The team will assess your property condition, governmental regulations, map existing & future utilities, and confirm your ADU design vision. By taking this step we can ensure we have identified the cost components unique to your property and move towards providing you with a Comprehensive Proposal providing you with a budget you can rely on moving forward.

Comprehensive Proposal

We will assemble the reports from the Team Visit, discuss with all Team Members your property & unique features and prepare a Comprehensive Proposal for you for the design, permit and build of your ADU…. start to finish! The Comprehensive Proposal will include the reports from the Team Visit, a site plan of your property and a construction agreement with AzADU Builders, LLC.

Signed Proposal
Time Frame:
4-8 weeks
Investment:
15% of budget
When you decide to move forward and engage AzADU Builders, LLC to build your ADU we will work with you to finalize the design of your ADU. In addition, a licensed Civil Engineer will prepare a soils report for your property. At the same time our draftsman will prepare the necessary final set of drawings including the AzADU floor plan you chose, your property site plan and utility connections. Once all documents are ready to submit AzADU will coordinate getting the plans logged into the City plan review portal to begin the review process.

Permit Tracking
Time Frame:
3-4 months
Investment:
$0
We will monitor the entire process and keep you informed as the City reviews your plans. We will inform you once a permit is obtained.

Build
Time Frame:
5-7 months
Investment:
35% - upon obtaining permit
20% - progress payment
20% - progress payment
AzADU Builders, LLC and its subcontractors will handle the construction of your ADU up to the final punch list.

Move in!

10% - upon Certificate of Occupancy
